1The Novice Class can start the same time as the other classes because it does not use the horses and wagons of the other classes.
2Contestants of any age, including youth, may compete in the open class along within the class for their age. The contestant must choose on their registration form which class they will attempt to place in order to compete at the national contest.
3The three person pick is just a fun activity and is for people to try husking. Participation is limited to the first 15 or 18 people to register (3 times the number of wagon teams). Teams will have members assigned randomly.
